About me

Why do I give so much of my stuff away for free?
Good question. I would like to make some money but at the same time I don't want to go down the path of obscurity. I like sharing and I like the feedback. How much exposure do you suppose I would be getting if I just sold things at high prices and nothing else.

Since I started this website in 1998, I have received countless emails from total strangers. I am pleased to say that most email exchanges have been pleasant. I've had my fair share of negative emails too, but I don't care about them. I can hold my own with weirdos or unhappy intellectuals. It keeps me on my toes to realize there are many people from all over the world who know what I look like and where I live.

My basic philosophies

I believe in giving first before you can receive.

I believe in the goodness and abundance in the world.

I believe that everything that happens to us is a direct result of the way we think.

Why do ask for donations?

I give away a lot of free stuff and will continue to do so. But I do ask for a small donation for my sheet music and extra recorded tracks. Why not? I spend countless hours getting this stuff right so people could use them as learning tools. But if I was to go down the path of charging money for everything, who would come and visit me then?

The bottom line is:

If you like what you see, why not donate a few goodwill dollars. It really doesn't hurt.

Enjoy your stay

And tell your friends
